When I did, though, this was listed as one of the ways to define it. It kind of seems a bit unusual given that it implies that truth is nothing but the thing everyone conforms to. Does that mean that if everyone were to be brainwashed into conforming to the idea that the Earth is flat, that that fact would be accepted as the truth, despite science proving otherwise? This also implies that the truth can be seemingly decided by communially held cultural or social values. If one culture believes a truth different to another culture, where does that leave us? In murky waters...</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:85%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:85%;">So, to answer the titular question, not always. One truth for me is that eating badly and lacking exercise leads me to gain weight however, this is not the same truth for others who can avoid such weight gain despite maintaining a similar diet/exercise regime. The truth is <em>truly</em> a funny thing.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:85%;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Verdana;font-size:85%;">Anyway, that's one philosophical proposal for you.
